Arles

When the home of expert craftsman, Vincent van Gogh, Arles is a Provencal city of remote peacefulness and capturing magnificence. One of the city's greatest attractions is the surviving remainders of Roman structural engineering, which incorporate the Roman Amphitheater. This extensive coliseum serves today as a venue for bullfights, celebrations and other uncommon occasions. A couple of other critical Gallo-Roman structures are the Classical Theater, the Cryptoporticus, the Obelisk and the Church of Saint Trophime.
